The place is conveniently placed in downtown Colorado Springs by a park and a few other cool shops. The atmosphere is very cozy, with soft colorful lighting, island style decor, and plenty of seating. Would be cool to see some stand up comics take over the small stage in the middle of one of the rooms, it would truly bring more life into this place. The workers are very informative and knowledgeable of the products they sell, and will answer all your questions with a smile. This was my first time trying a Kava drink and I would definitely visit again. It’s also a good place to study or work, as I’ve seen a few people my first visit on their computers or deep in their books. Not to mention their selection of canned drinks to take home, full of different blends of herbs to substitute any alcoholic drink and get your mood up without any negative side effects of alcohol! The selection of drinks is pretty big, from strong to weaker selections. Definitely recommend 👍🏼

I've been all over the US & outside its borders & I must say ... This place has the best bathrooms ever! ♥️ And I must add, the atmosphere is great as are the drinks! It has that Tiki bar atmosphere with enough eclectic elements such as the music and various toys about to not give it a Tiki bar atmosphere. Just go already!

Awesome live music on some nights, small with cozy vibe. The employees know a lot of regulars and they talk and create a friend like atmosphere. Highly recommend for valuable conversations and perhaps first time meet ups.

A well blended mix of culture and ambience. The featured beverage is one good and true for the heart and body, don't let the taste steer you away ! My favourite lil nook in this tinless space is the stage for those open mic nights or dedicated shows. I've heard plenty of tales from the owner how people would go there to expand confidence and find friendships that last indefinitely. If you need a pal or inspiration or a soul-soothing remedy, Ohana Kava Bar is a wise choice

Aiden was awesome! As is the rest of the staff. Been coming here on repeat for years and I just can’t get enough. Stormy, Emerson and all the other staff along with the atmosphere they offer are beyond compare. If you’re a young hippy, open minded individual, just looking to get some work done, or trying to venture out of the usual dive bar scene this is your place! Very inclusive, very trendy, and a good example of what Colorado Springs has to offer. Cheers, and thank you for the vibes.

Cool little spot to sit down and chat with people and play some board games. Cool music and hippie/stoner vibes which I like. Sometimes they have live music which is always cool. The drinks give you a mild buzz but not enough to get crazy and get arrested the way alcohol can do. Some of the bartenders aren't very good at greeting people and will leave you waiting at the register for an awkward amount of time while they chat with their buddies which always annoys me a little bit but most of them are attentive and friendly. Some days there's a bunch of little kids here too which I'm not super fond of for a downtown hangout spot but it's not a huge deal. If you don't drink or if you just wanna do something different, it's a cool place to socialize and enjoy your evening. They have board games and they allow dogs on the patio too. The Kava drinks definitely encourage conversation and critical thinking which makes chess more interesting than usual, lol. 🤙

Kava is definitely an aquired taste. We tried a variety of different traditional and non traditional kava beverages. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the whole process. We came to listen to Ryan Flores play guitar and enjoyed the atmosphere and original beverages. Will come back again

Stopped in from our of town- if youve never experienced Kava this is the place for you! Extremely knowledgable staff, friendly, and very helpful when it comes to learning all there is to know about Kava. In addition, the variety of drinks and teas is phenomenal. Definitely reccommend for out of town visitors who want a unique experience without going too crazy. The calm, relaxing atmosphere and boards games were exactly what we needed between fast and furious tourist attractions. Prices were also incredibly reasonable. Stop here. So worth it.

I got the Maui Mule and didn’t love my drink. However I think it was the combo of the kombucha and kava flavors. I wouldn’t recommend that beverage but would love to go back and try another drink. My fiancé got the mango smoothie and loved it. It was great. Loved the environment and the staff was friendly.

Ohana is the perfect place to go if you just want a very relaxing and cilled out environment. The people are great. I go there a few times a month just to sit and talk to my friends. I don't drink kratom or kava but I am able to bring my own drinks like seltzer water and ginger ale. And we're allowed to order food and have it delivered there so we can eat! When we're there we are spending about 4-5 hours each time we visit.

I love this Kava Bar and ALEX is the best EVER! I love her, she’s kind, outgoing and attentive to her customers. She always made my experience at Ohana top tier! I also have to shout out Stormy. Such a kind soul who always has a smile on her face. If you get to have either of these as your kava tender, count yourself lucky ♥️

This place is very pleasant. It's so fun to experience new things and learn. Ohana Kava Bar is just the place for kicking back and and having good conversation in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and informative. By the time we left we did feel a bit like 'Ohana'! The 'on tap' kombucha was very tasty and of good quality plus the Kava was quite the experience! We would definitely revisit this unique bar and bring more friends! Most of us can use more relaxation and anxiety free moments and a friendly, healthy atmosphere to enjoy!! If you're trying for the first time... Check out happy hour; the prices are great!
